Yes, there is a book. It won't be in bookshops until sometime in April or May 2012. But you can buy it here.

The book captures the widely different beach experiences which can be had in the greater Sydney area and draws on the resources of this website, the work of eight years of not too unpleasant research (if you can call visiting beaches research!).

There are over 300 full-colour photos, maps, a guide to the beach pages, an index and a key to the beach amenities symbols. On each beach page there are public transport hints, a brief comment and the date of my most recent visit to the beach.
